Humans needed

This was my first experience with Virtual Voice narration, which is on a par with sub-par human narration. Not terrible, but irritatingly flawed. All the characters sounded alike, regardless of age or gender or social class. And sometimes characters would inexplicably shift their accent mid-statement. I almost fast-forwarded through a long stretch where the architectural term “bow window” was repeatedly used, and the robo-narrator kept mispronouncing the first word incorrectly. In many places, it put the emphasis on the wrong word in a sentence in way that a human would never do. This technology really needs human supervision.
