A gripping plot

This is one of the best Ross novels I have read.. It’s almost certainly the most interesting.

Poison Garden is a good read

Enjoyed the story and the characters. I have only read one Ryan books and I enjoyed both.

I especially liked the reader.

Suspense

My wait for this book was worth it. I loved the suspense and humor. I love Ryan and the crew. Charlie is a great addition to the team.

Another winner.

I’ve waited for this audiobook for a long time and the wait was worth it. This is one of my favorite series and it was good to be back with these characters. Great story - and the final reveal was a big surprise. Looking forward to more.

Surprise Justice

Great story line but definitely caught off guard and surprised at the twist of the ending.

Worth the wait

I enjoyed everything. It was great to catch up with this beloved and familiar CID team once more. The story was full of twists and turns and gave enough reminders of previous cases. Alnwick descriptions brought happy memories. Jonathan Keble is still one of the best narrators; his authentic character acting never failing to induce interest and affection.

Not Great

Dislike: reader, plot, characters. Thin worn plot with unsympathetic characters and a reader not skilled in different accents or voices. Overall disappointing

Performance

It stated off really slow but halfway I couldn’t stop listening. All in all my first book in the series and will definitely listen/read other books in this series.
