Paranoia Anyone?

In this installment in the Mrs. Pomolo mystery series, Geneva Pomolo and her sidekick, Iris, investigate the murder of a beloved host of marathon events. Their investigation brings them in contact with a diverse cast of characters ranging from a childhood bully, a creepy con man, a paranoid neighbor, and ex-con among others. As usual in this series, this is short, 2 ½ hour listen. The story was well written and well developed and the mystery was interesting with many twists and turn. I have been listening to several of these stories and am finding them fun and interesting to listen to. I am looking forward to listening to other books in this series. An advantage is that they are very reasonably priced at about $5 a listen.

Narrator, Maria McCann, was a pleasure to listen to and did an excellent job voicing the characters. It was easy to distinguish the characters and she had a lot of affect in her narration that kept things interesting.

I highly recommend this series for those looking for a well-written cozy mystery with plenty of twists and turns.

Another fun story!

Plots & Paranoia is one of the Mrs Pomolo Investigates cozy mysteries series by Donna Muse. Geneva and Iris are asked to investigate the suspected poisoning of a fitness guru. Unfortunately, she succumbs to the poison and Geneva & Iris are left to find the killer. The narration by Maria McCann is great! I thoroughly enjoyed listening to this story

This a cute short cozy mystery about two friends trying to find themselves and solve a mystery along the way. Great cast of misfit characters and fun.
