Walking away from my marriage was my idea of a fresh start.

My kid is in college, my ex-wife and I are on good terms…but being single in my 40s is a world different to being single in my teens.

I’m thankful for my best friend, Heath. He’s got my back like he always does and is ready to take me out and show me how the bachelor life is done.

After we wake up in bed together, I can’t stop looking at him differently, and one thing becomes abundantly clear.

When my best friend comes to me for help post-divorce, I’m only too happy to impart my wisdom to him.

After all, Griffin isn’t my type, but even I can tell he’s a complete lumbersnack. Good with his hands, kind eyes, and a killer smile. All the guys and gals are gonna eat him alive.

But the more time we spend together, the less “not my type” he becomes. I’m the one who can’t get enough of him.

Neither of us is interested in a relationship, so what’s a little fun between friends?

This was sugary sweet and hot as hell. Low angst and some pretty 🔥 love. Mr. Russo is amazing as a narrator and he definitely made this an enjoyable listen.

Just as good as the first in the series! Eloquent and on point narration. Highly recommend!

When I originally read this back in October I only picked it up because of Felix and Marshall’s story in the Franklin U series.

Griff and Heath aren't my favorite DMC love story, and I still stand by that, but I liked their story a little more the second time around. It’s such a sweet best friends to lovers romance about two idiots who don’t realize they’ve been in love with each for years lol

Great story; soooo sweet and funny at times. I÷ especially love Heath's personality. I wish that I knew these characters personally🙂. The made narrator was excellent!!!

A bisexual daddy, a playboy gay man, best friends to lovers, and such good spice - what’s not to love?

Meh

The narration for this one made it hard to follow the changing POV. I also wanted to knock these two upside the head. For two bestbfriends they don't talk a lot about their lives with eachother.

Soooooooo funny!!!

I laughed so hard through so many scenes of this story. It is securely in my faves section of my audible library. At first I wasn’t sure if I’d be into it, and it gradually got better and better and hotter and hotter!!🔥😄🔥 Great second installment in this series and I’m buzzing to get into the next one.

This was a stinking cute read, with just the right amount of angst. A very enjoyable read.

These Two Were Perfection Together!

I absolutely loved Griff and Heath together. They were just so cute. I love a best friend to lovers trope and this one was so well done. It was very low angst which for me was good as I was looking to listen to a lighter book. The chemistry between these two though was sizzling despite how sweet this book was so I thought it was a nice mix. I even liked the ex here despite how almost robotic she seemed at times, she truly cared for and supported both Griff and Heath. I also enjoyed the secondary plot of the son as well. Overall it was an enjoyable listen and I think NJR did a great job narrating it.

Definitely a HEA with almost no angst

An easy listen with a HEA. The narrator did well. It’s so refreshing to read a MM romance with people in their 30s and 40s. I can’t wait to read the next books in the series.

There was one intimate scene toward the end that turned my stomach, but that’s a me problem and nothing to do with the writing.
