Great story line

Interesting plot twists and turns. Enjoyed the pace and details shared. Enjoyed listening to the story and had a hard time putting the book down.

Fantastic yet sad story

Absolutely captivating! This is my first book by this author....now I want to read every one of her books!

Riveting!!!

I grew up in Lancaster and after college I moved away. So, it was great to learn more of the Amish culture. As all of Jodi’s books, this too was fast paced and full of twists. I was on the edge of my seat and could not put this down. I loved it and told my sister she has to read this next! Thank you!

Mind blowing ending!

I was pulled in , constantly wondering what was going to happen next! I never expected it to end the way it did! OMG! It's like a cliff hanger. What will the attorney end up doing?

I have read a number of books about the Amish, nonfiction and fiction.. although there were a couple of errors in this book Oh, wrong color for quilts and giving a longer history to then they have, I realized something that I had never realized before, namely the Deep sense of community. so different from mainstream Society.
