Weird start But Stick With It

Narrator is superb but story is hard to follow at the beginning. The character development is unique as we require in Jody Picoult’s books. Requires concentration to keep up with the interesting twists and turns of the plot.

Completely engrossing!

Picoult again displays her mastery at weaving together seemingly disparate storylines, and revealing the depth of unconsidered (and often little known) social and historical issues. Her revelations and resolutions are so intuitive and satisfying. She certainly makes one think! Loved and highly recommend this book!

Excellent!

Read. This. Book. You wont regret it. It has a bit of everything. From love to loss, misery to miracles. It provokes thought on the use of science in genetics and breeding. I simply couldn't put it down.

I loved this story and all the Characters. This is definitely a page turner I couldn’t outgrown. I would highly recommend this ❤️

Overall good

Storyline jumped back and forth in time a lot in the beginning and it was sort of hard to follow listening in audible. Took quite a while to get into and understand the story. It was a little predictable. But interesting overall.

Wonderful!

Loved this story! Only Jodi Picot can take you along like your right there with her characters and what great characters they are! You learn so much in Jodi’s books on subjects that are important but not really known about. If that makes sense? Great book and narrator was very good not annoying at all. Almost like story being read by a grandfather. I would highly recommend. Only negative for me is now I have to wait for another great book by Jodi. Hopefully won’t have to wait long.

Pay close attention.....

I loved this book! Pay attention or you will lose track of where you are. The twists and turns are amazingly unsuspected.

Slow and confusing at the beginning

T try he beginning was rather confusing but wow as you started to weave the story together. Gla I kept listening.

Best Jodi Picoull book hands down

It almost felt like a Stephen King novel. Fantastic storyline, beautifully written. Just stunning.

interesting characters; too much focus on suicide

I was into the characters and their journeys. the history of eugenics was fascinating and disturbing. Way too much focus on suicide depicted as an option for life's losses, over and over and over.
