just fun

Audio Review
Kevin & Curtis do a beautiful job in making this book come to life. There is no over narration just simply put beautifully done. What a great way to enjoy a low angst story that just has you smiling from start to finish.


Now, this is how you do a single dad romance! Where yes, there is some hesitation but not to hinder the developing relationship. Nico is one of those guys who are all in from the getgo and make Jason able to move forward at his own pace. Then the kiddos they are as big as part of the story as the relationship, and for me, that's the way a single dad romance should be. Kids are a major part of their lives and should be. Without their support, this relationship couldn't have worked as beautifully as it did. It's such a beautiful story.

What I love about this book is how giggly and how I loved the ended up together and how Nico treated his kids. I love this book and I would highly recommend it to everyone trade it.

Cute. A little too sweet.

The story was cute. Fun to follow their love but it was too neat and overly sweet. Mills spice.

Was cute, story moved fast, didn't seem to have any meat to it, like the writer was trying to finish fast.

A Sweet Read

Just listened to Pies & Promises, and wow,. I completely fell for Jason, the Pie Man, and Nico, the son of the diner owner. Parker and Lulu, Jason’s adorable kids, totally stole my heart with how they brought these two together.

It’s such a feel-good story filled with love, family, and real emotions. Jason’s struggle as a single dad trying to make ends meet, and Nico dealing with his own family issues — it’s beautiful how they found each other. Their relationship might have moved fast, but it felt genuine and heartfelt.

I absolutely loved this one and can’t wait to dive into more from this author.
