JJ Cheng succeeds in weaving together Chinese culture, history and mythology from the vantage point of a young girl guided by her grandfather. An ethereal ride through the sky, fervently on the side of peace and standing tall in the face of darkness. Recommended for a wide range of ages; it is far beyond being just a kid’s story.
