    Fire Marshal Aaron Harwell from the City of Perrysburg’s Fire Division is my guest today. In this episode, he shares Fire Prevention Tips, talks about the Open House at the Fire Station on Ft. Meigs Road coming up on Sunday, Sept 7, 2025, from 1-4 PM, and much more.

    Our conversation covers AED’s, Stop-the-Bleed Kits, CPR classes, smoke detectors, carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguishers, the City’s Knox Box Program, community partners (like the American Red Cross and Safe Kids Greater Toledo), a character named Max the Dog (who helps children learn about Fire Safety), and National Fire Prevention Week, which is in October. This year’s theme is “Charge into Fire Safety: Lithium Ion Batteries in Your Home.”
