Love Lula Larkin's narration. Story was compelling and interesting. Kept me guessing until the end.

Masterful Writer

A cop whistle blows on her partner when he kills a driver that they should never have stopped. Banished to the cold cases department she awaits the trial. She has been promoted to Detective but is allowed to do paperwork. When a reporter draws her into a series of cold cases and killings today she is drawn into the case. Great story.

It was ok

I love Carson Taite’s books. However, this fell short for me! There was not much depth for each character and in areas it kept dragging on and in other areas in needed more. Not sure what happened with this book, but it could have been better. Lula Larkin did a pretty good job, it was an ok listen! Out of all her books, this would be at the bottom for me so far!

Not my favorite Carsen Taite book

I usually really like CT books, and I look forward to new releases. This one fell a little flat for me for some reason. I wasn’t on the edge of my seat and I think maybe I wants more depth in the characters. The narration was good. Overall I’d say this was just ok.
