Amy Perfect is the crème de la crème of wedding planners, so who best to plan Georgina's wedding? Except that the man Georgina plans to marry is the same man who jilted Amy three years ago.

Will her plan to give Georgina an imperfect wedding backfire? Is this the chance for Amy to win back the love of her life, or will insufferable Ben put a spanner in the works?

Clever writing, witty comments and effortless narration combine in a lighthearted read, perfect for the lazy days of summer.

Many of the situations are highly improbable - but are reminiscent of what was once called a madcap comedy ... think "I Love Lucy" with a more sophisticated point of view.

Karen Cass brings each character to life - all most amusingly - and seamlessly transitions from one to the other in the course of one conversation .... no mean feat!

Delightfully Amusing

If you're looking for a light, entertaining book with a fun storyline, you'll like this book. I particularly like Karen Cass, the narrator. The way you'll rate this book depends on your mood for a sweet bit of fluff. I was in the mood.

Light and fun.

I'm engaged and planning my wedding so I thoroughly enjoyed reading about Amy Perfect, her wedding planning business, and
everything that goes awry when she loses control. However, I was taken-aback by the constant mentions of weight, calories, and body image. It's an important part of the main character's growth but as a plus sized bride, it made me feel inadequate. Read for a fun romp, skip it if you're working on weight loss for your wedding.

Don't read if you're on a diet for your wedding.

It’s my style of books and they’re supposed to BE light but there were a few moments that didn’t make sense to me at all and could’ve been written better but overall it was a fun listen.

Easy listen

I don’t think I’ve ever purchased a book that deserves zero stars. There was not ONE redeeming paragraph. It is tedious, aggravating, contrived and stupid- almost cartoonish. No “heroine” could be as lacking in intelligence or make every wrong choice possible at every turn. At any point in the long, dreary, eye rolling story, this character could have resolved the “dilemma” (and I use the term lightly because it surely didn’t rise to a plot of any type) with a two minute conversation. Ugh!

Just really awful
