Publisher's Summary

In the sequel to one of Wahida's most successful titles (Payback Is a Mutha), old scores are settled, and before long new tensions arise.

Still recovering from the suicide of her best friend, Shan, now pregnant by a married man, is forced to make major decisions in her life. Ready to leave the fast life behind, Shan believes a move to Detroit will help her become a stronger woman - but someone wants revenge against her brother and is willing to destroy her in the process.

Torn over his love for his sister and his desire to get back on top of the drug game, Shan's brother, Peanut, knows the danger of the streets. Old beefs become new scores and before long, a turf war is raging. With the stakes as high as they've ever been, only a few people will be left standing - and Shan is determined to be one of them.

I'm glad I gotten around to reading this series its actually good. And I'm so mad about that ending part. Man the things I could do to Forever.Im not going to put spoilers in this review lol I'm so mad . but some parrtz of the ending im glad some people got what they deserved. Can't wait to listen to part 3.

Not good

Narrator was BAD, couldn't get into the book or charters , I will never listen to another book Narrated by Bessie. Her high pitch screaming voice was a turn off and I want my money back.

Excellent

I have really enjoyed this book. The characters are a hot mess. But funny as hell. I love me some peanut. I loved how he wanted to protect his sister Shan. There was so many characters. I almost didn't get the book, because of the comments about the narrator. But old girl was good. I loved her narration. I know so many people that speaks the way she spoke for the guys. I am looking for other books, that she narrates. I have enjoyed all of wahid books. Keep the good books coming.

If the story could have a man voice it would be better , but the overall tone was good.

Can't put my phone down! Thank God for Audible!

I truly enjoyed this story so far! I can't put my phone down to do anything else! Darn You Miss W. Clark! You definitely have a masterpiece in your hands! Well I'm off to Book 3. I'm sure I will love it just as much as 1 & 2. Especially since this one is narrated by one of my favorites! Miss Nicole Small. ( I love her narrations!) May Jehovah God continue to Bless You All.

More Stable

This installment was much more stable and easier to follow than the first. I really like Bessie Lee as a narrator...she is very animated and made story come to life.

It could have been much better

The men were so disrepectful to the woman and degrade them. The narrator turned me off. the pitch at times became annoying. I think this could have been better.
