love this series

character VI is real and the plot is very well developed so a very enjoyable listen

Disappointed not her usual work

I had trouble following so many characters as well as the aliases. But I still look forward to her next book.

Excellent story well woven.

I enjoyed the book. I do get frustrated with how tired the character gets, that does get old. Otherwise I have listed to almost all of the VI books.

I had to reduce the speed to lower the narrator into a regester I could listed to.

If you’re Woke, you’ll love it.

I think I’ve read every book in this series, over a period of 20+ years,, and I pre-ordered this one. Sadly, I returned it. I tried to ignore the “transgender” ideology, but it kept coming back up. I suppose if the author wants to preach, that’s her privilege. But I’m done.

Convoluted Story

Have listened to all the V.I. stories. This one was good but different. The storyline in Kansas about all the "owners" etc. of the property was very convoluted and difficult to follow the characters. As always though, it is worth the credit.

Another VI Warshafsky story.

Like an old friend from my hometown and neighborhood. Read them all. Will be on the lookout for the next one.
