irritating soft talker

There were barely enough bits of knowledge to keep me engaged through the pathetic soft talking narrator. Would not recommend unless you love hearing people talk in library voice.

A few good insights...

This book was not exactly what I was expecting. There are definitely some good insights provided by the author however it's not really a training book.

This is a con, good for you Dave, nice hustle.

He literally quotes aviators with no context for minutes. Then references YouTube videos for minutes. Yea YouTube and flight simulators are more affordable…. Great. He’s an amateur.
Most useful part was his wiki search of the c-150, C-172, and citabria. I also read wiki Dave, super helpful ….

The worthlessness

No actual knowledge, absolutely worthless book. All the information in this book is the absolute basic information that you would expect from general conversation. Definitely not worth paying for. Very disappointed

I did not know what to expect with this audio book, but I'm glad I took the time to listen to it. It contains valuable information that would be beneficial to anyone pursuing a private pilot license.

The calm voice and confidence boost.

The calm voice and confidence boost I liked. Everyone learnes at their pace. Confidence building in aviation is a must for new pilots they are walking into huge amount of information that is overwhelming and old pilots whom have left and rediscovered their passion for flying have to review and catch up with the technology and skills they once possessed. This gentlemen is the type of mentor and instructor I would love to have. Fast paced learning speaking a mile a minute doesn't always convey the material and the retention is poor. In aviation you have to be specific and concise because your life and other's lives depends upon it. This is not a boring book, on the contrary it makes you listen which is why we purchase it in the first place. So don't knock the man, respect that he has taken the time to enlighten us and if your a pilot why don't you pass on your experience and expertise to others who are in need of knowledge.

Well that’s a hour I’ll never get back!

This book is not what title says , a book someone forced himself to write that has no business writing. So boring and useless information. I am looking for a audible training book that can help with my ground school while I’m driving around working everyday. This book is not that! He goes on and on about finding a instructor or which plane to fly. It should be titled “hey before you start flying lessons do this”
