Good overview

Lots of good information but when he pronounced the vital street and subway stops in French you lost me. Great you can speak French, but this book is directed toward English speaking people who have little to no fluency.

Good travel guide

This is a good Paris travel guide with streamlined information. I appreciated his “Parisian” insider view point. I did not like his overly accented pronunciation of the metro station names. These were very difficult for the non-French speaking to catch in audio format. The rest of the guide is easy to understand though.

Kept saying in the preview that this technique doesn’t really work

Just not what I was expecting or hoping for. The narrator kept giving instructions in English that you would not understand if you were asleep.
