Informative!!

I like how well-versed on this area the author is. Since my child was diagnosed years ago, we have more experience, but I wish I had this book back when we were initially learning about it. I had previously done a lot of study on this topic, but there was still a lot of useful information in this book.

Would recommend it.

This book has been quite useful and relatable to me in many ways. I would unquestionably suggest it to any parent or caregiver of a child with autism who, like me, is unsure of what to do next or what the future may contain. An excellent book on the subject.

Pragmatic and useful.

An excellent book on the subject of raising and educating a child with autism, with advice on how to modify for a better understanding of the autistic mindset and how to lessen anxiety in your child, as well as how to navigate the minefield of local authority practice in fulfilling your child's needs.

Learning so much!!

I've been enjoying this book a lot since my child was recently diagnosed. This book has really assisted me because I truly didn't know where to begin. Additionally, it gives me a sense of relief and makes me feel that our lives are just going to change course rather than failing in any way.

A great tool for parents

This book is really informative and simple to read. Our 4 years-old son recently received an ASD diagnosis. While we are waiting to receive expert assistance, this book guides us through the initial few weeks. For people who have recently realized that they have a child with ASD, I heartily suggest this book.

Fantastic

This was my first ever audible book, and it was great. I bought the paperback version, but with life being busy, never had a chance to read it. My son is just over two years old and was diagnosed with autism before turning two. This was a great resource and a guide for ‘what to expect’ almost. I highly recommend this book for anyone with a recent autism diagnosis in their life!

Definitely recommend this book.

This book served more as a reference for me. I had a peek at the section on a child's education. For parents who wish to learn about their child's educational possibilities, it is an excellent place to start. It is simple to read and offers excellent advice for people thinking about homeschooling.

Extremely concise and readable

Every day I work with teens who have ASD, but after learning that a family member has it, I felt the urge to learn more about ASD in young children. This book has all the information you need from infancy to school age, and the wonderful advice is written from the perspective of a parent.
