Never a Dull Moment!

All the five star reviews are well deserved. Besides writing a terrific book,, Maz is an outstanding narrator. As well as being an entertaining book from start to finish, it is a clever mystery I did not solve,. I highly recommend.

I love a good mystery especially with an unlikely heroine. This story has it all, and one of the better last lines in books!

Incredible!

I loved this book. The humor and story was amazing. Think “Beetlejuice” meets “The Good Place”. Great way to break of the dark tone of so many murder mysteries.

Smart and funny

I loved the storyline, but the author also made me laugh out loud at some of the dialogue—in a good way. The narrator was excellent, and the only thing I don’t understand is why this isn’t a huge bestseller. Easy read, fun read, smart read.

I LOVED this book, author and narrator!

This was the best listen and in my top favorites now. The story made me laugh each chapter, had me loving hanging out with the characters, had such great redeeming value, and wanting to please have a squeal or series now. The narrator was so much fun getting into every character’s personality and transporting me into each scene. She did a brilliant job that made the story even better than reading. Please write more of these- I want to continue to hang out with Miriam and her neighbor. So much fun.

Out of nowhere delightful!

I really enjoyed both the story and narration. Usually, when authors read their own books the best I’ll think is, “they did alright for an author,” but she was a wonderful narrator in her own right. I love heart warming books with cool character relationships and this didn’t disappoint. For a moment I thought the main character was going to be unsympathetic, but I was thankfully wrong!
