What if we didn't do everything the way we've always been told it has to be done, and started walking in bold, audacious faith?

I married a Chris

Even though I have been with my current husband for 10 years, the 5 years I was with “Chris” has haunted my relationship to this day. Hearing your story makes me realize it’s never too late to try and overcome the trauma. Thank you for sharing your story and I’m so sorry this happened to you.

Beautiful

This book is absolutely beautiful from start to finish. It is messy, raw, relatable and real in the best way. It is the most unconventional Christian book that I have ever read and I will never forget the listening experience. I have cried over and over throughout this book but I have also laughed countless times. Kelsey’s words come to life and make you feel like you’re lounging on the couch hanging out with a sister/best friend. She addresses pain that the majority of females experience in every stage of life. While reading this book I found myself considering all of the times that I felt I wasn’t good enough or didn’t have expectations met. This story is an incredible reminder that we are fully loved and known by our creator and that IS ENOUGH.

Riveting

Beautifully written. I had a hard time “putting it down”. It kept my attention the whole way through. I especially appreciate the raw honesty and bravery that she put forward in letting us in to something so private. No doubt this book is going to change lives and lead to healing for those that have suffered or are suffering in a dysfunctional relationship. Thank you for being vulnerable and sharing. I listened to this whole book in one sitting because I couldn't get enough! I used to go to the church where ''Chris'' was a part of. I saw Kelsey lead worship plenty of times there & it's crazy to hear what she went through. I spoke with her once at a church party many years ago & to think back on the internal sadness she was hiding behind her smile breaks my heart! I'm so glad she found her happy ending with her husband & kids. She is so strong & brave for sharing her story. I had tears in my eyes at multiple parts of her story. A lot of it hit home for me & I'm so grateful to have stumbled upon this book!
