lots of plot, very little steamy parts. characters are all developed, tension is perfect. this is my second read through and I'm every bit as captivated as the first time. I would recommend this book

Julie Johnstlone is amazing!
Julie Johnstone turned the true story of Robert the Bruce into a fictional historical romance that is just amazing! The characters were strong and showed incredible strength through such horrible times. I really enjoyed this audio book and it is definitely credit worthy. If you love highland romance, this book is definitely for you!

Just okay
This story just wasn’t for me. I wanted more of the love relationship between Bruce and Elizabeth vs the conflict between England and Scotland. I hope the next two books n the seri are better than this one. Narration is excellent!

Loved it !! this story. the narrator is so fantastic it's like your really there!! After listening to this story,. I totally enjoyed reading this book. It’s well written and the characters were uniquely fantastic. I would suggest this book to my friends that like this sort of genera. this was a good book. The narration was great.
