The Narrator… (ALSO FIRST WRITTEN REVIEW FOR THIS BOOK)

All things considered, this audiobook is basically p e r f e c t. However, there is one main problem, and that is more really a personal thing then a problem with the book itself. You see, the narrator just doesn’t fit with the voice inside my head. When I first read Out of My Mind, I imagined a more mature, less squeaky voice than the one in this audio for Out of My Heart. I’m just a kid, so I can pretty clearly remember voices around Melody’s age, and they aren’t so high pitched. But of course, as I said before, this is my personal preference, and obviously there are people around 10-11 years that sound like the narrator’s voice here (no offense meant). AND FINALLY, I AM THE FIRST PERSON TO WRITE A REVIEW FOR THIS SEQUEL TO A MASTERPIECE! Well, on Audible at least. :D

This book is the bomb! It’s so good! It gives us a whole journey of friendship, destiny, and overcoming your fears. THIS IS A TOTALLY AWESOME, HEARTFELT, CHARACTER-DRIVEN BOOK! 😁👏🏾

“Best book in the world”

My 9 year old said this, “best book in the world, why am I always so sad when it’s over?” She desperately wants Sharon M. Draper to write more books, and they MUST have Sisi Aisha Johnson narrate them. (As a teacher of students like Melodie, I must say, this book teaches me something new every time I hear it)

An incredible book

Out of my heart is an awesome book, it brings a perspective that amplifies a view of people who have different abilities.
It's a book for everyone, having an interest in inclusion or not. It's a book to think about how we are creating the world, how we can be better, kinder, how to think that others think and experiment life in different ways, and it's perfectly fine.

I loved this book I'll admit it was kind of sad at the end though. In a good way. I just really recommend you listen to melodys's second adventure. Really from me through some twists and turns of emotion.
