There is a sweet innocence in all poetry where the author is open and exposes the most intimate and private parts of themselves. Listening to this collection, Artie Bryant leads the reader into loves heartbreak where I could feel vulnerability and emotion in the depth of the meaning behind the words. I felt the hurt, the brokenness, the pain of love lost and desire throughout this deliverance of unapologetic raw truth being unveiled. This was intimate, dark and provocative and at times I felt the words were a reflection that caused an introspection and evaluation of my own past and present. I gained a different insight of loves perfect imperfection and the forgiveness required to heal that so desperately needed to sooth what ails in order to move on and find your worth, your happiness.

Love…it is the one word that encompasses every emotion caused from an action and reaction of something spoken or felt and the author did a wonderful depiction and portrayal through poetry. This was indeed a therapeutic journey and a delightful audiobook to listen to.
