Exhilarating Characters in this Steamy Book!

Wow!!! This is the first in the 2 book series. I love the Mattie character and hot Kyle. Captivating story and plot! Great narration by Ashley Taylor.

Not knowing exactly when this story was supposed to have taken place made a few things a little odd to me. like what single woman has both a land line and a cell phone these days? and Maddie was not my favorite, she was downright stupid at times, I just wanted to shake my head at her. so the story itself had some moments that I didn't care for, but overall wasn't bad. there was a lot of action that I don't usually go for, I'm typically just a plain romance reader, but the suspense quality was actually a nice change of pace.

I've listened to this narator before and enjoyed other books more. this one, there was almost a tinny quality to the audio that was distracting at times. it's hard to explain. Not a problem with the narator, but of the production quality.

This is the 2nd book and its very good! I like suspense and it can be hard to find a truly suspenseful book w/ romance also. I liked it and this narrator!

Talk about a murder mystery.⚡

Non stop action after the romantic poetic introduction online, combined with a troubling co-workers personality and relationships of havoc take Maddy on a rollercoaster ride to an eventual Happy ever after. The narrator clearly defines the differing personalities and characters while bring the main subject into our protective emotions. my suspicion was maintained on many people right until the last few pages. l thought even the portrayed good guys could end up on the wrong side. Did they?
You will have to listen yourself to find out!❣

Infuriating, but it could just be me.

I liked the narrator but found the story lacking. I kept getting so upset with the female in the book holding back information and the the hero started to do the same thing. It was making me mad to the point I almost stopped listening. Again it may just be me.
