Bad female narrator

Average story. Female narrator spoke too fast and too panicked all the time. Found her irritating

Much To Do About Nothing

I have to tell him. I can't tell him. I want to be with him, I don't want to be with him, no I have to get him back. That's all Emma did through this entire book. If I knew someone like that in real life I would have them committed to a loony bin. And of course they left the story on another cliffhanger.

As usual Christian Fox was amazing but Erin Mallon was starting to grate on me this time.

So much repetition 🙄🤦

I have read and enjoyed All of LRJ books available on Audible- until this series...I usually don't read reviews unless it's a new author bc if I like a book, I continue with the author until I've finished all available books...if I like 1or 2 books I like them all. IDK what happened here in this trilogy...but it has been a chore to finish the 1st 2 books...SO MUCH REPETITION of exact same thoughts, feelings, internal dialogue, life altering sex scenes...I had to go back and double check SEVERAL TIMES to make sure that I hadn't somehow accidentally skipped back a few chapters and was hearing it again....is this ANOTHER NEW WAY for authors to get more $$$...not just split up a book into 4 cliffhanger " NOVELLAS" but try to fool you by dragging out the same Novella cliffhanger into a 10 hr , repetitive rambling of a unmedicated ADD person? In an attempt to make you "Think" you are getting your money worth??? All This kind of sneaky underhanded stuff is REALLY getting old! Just charge what the heck you think you want for the book & let your readers decide if they freaking want to pay for it! This "Cliffhanger- Novella " crap is doing nothing but turning me off from authors. Unfortunately this author goes on my (👎🚍🚫❌🚫 ) not going to be buying again list....one person may not matter...but at least I still get to choose who gets some of my hard earned $$$...

It is long and never ending

This book has potential. but it is long and never ending. It is very repetitive and finally when the plot gets somewhere, it is over and now waiting for book three. Such a waste of time.

Too much back and forth

I love almost everything this author does. This series...#2 in particular is just too much suspense for nothing. Sooo much back and forth its almost childish. Part of that maybe the female narrator. She usually works for me but her consistently manic voice combined with the never ending OMG I cant....yes I can...I need you...I have to leave you....well it was just borderline silly at times.

Jason Clark is just amazing but I think even he got tired at some points.
I broke a rule and am reading this series now knowing its a cliffhanger. There really is no point at this book. Its just angst and filler....but I will so we get a nice bite of the cookie for the ending. Now I dont know what else could fill a whole nother book but Im gonna go with it. Its good enough that Im going to be on it as soon as #3 is released.

Cliffhanger

Wait for the next book 1st! Or just go to the last chapter then listen.

Finally

Omg... finally the 2nd book, but another cliffhanger 😤🤯..the only thing I would change is the constant banter with her threatening to run away 4 the SAME thing 😫🤬 otherwise it was a good book with 2 of the best narrators with audible

Who killed brother Hunter part2

Suspense and romance but also plenty of filler since this single story has been spread over 3 books. The narration was good and plenty of sex, some forward movement in the story but lots of rinse and repeat repetition. Maybe at a future date the 3 volumes will be properly edited to 1 book which would than make it a 5 but until then the story is a 3 in 3 parts.

I'm done.

I just can't with the back and forth and the stretched to far lie/truth that goes on and on and on and on some more. stop already. no need for three books the story was easily two.

Still good but...

It got kind of annoying how they kept having to rehash their commitment to each other. They would come to an understanding and both agree they wanted to be in a relationship with each other and then something would happen or something would be said and Emma would doubt our run. I like stories about runners when they run for a good reason. Emma constantly trying to run just felt like a slap in the face to Jax. He had more of a reason to not want the relationship but he was all in. In fact it was really sweet how much he wanted Emma. But Emma kind of annoyed me in this book.

It was still good though. And we’re still uncovering secrets as the story continues.
