Publisher's Summary

Tequila Key is just like any other small town, and I'm just like any other small town psychic. Scratch that. Tequila Key is a world onto itself and some people might think that I am one crayon short of the box.

And, if we're being totally honest, Tequila Key is just like any other small town - if that town boasts a voodoo priestess and a few white witches for flavor. Turquoise blue water and the best margaritas this side of Mexico make it hard to leave.

I'm Althea Rose, co-owner of Luna Rose Potions & Tarot Shop, and I've just stumbled into a love triangle while trying to save my best friend from being accused of murder.

See? Just like any other small town.

OOGH

This story line is like a kids book that she threw in some sex slang thinking it would bring it up to adult status. will return the book.

Binging This Entire Series

This book is hilarious. The book contains enough mystery, love, romance, and MAGIC to keep you wanting to read (hear) more. I am bingeing this series.

Do not waste a credit!

I love cozy mysteries & I don't expect a Pulitzer Prize winning level of writing. This book however, sounds like it was written by a "C" level high school student, love struck by the captain of the football team. There are books that I didn't love, but I have never written a review like this because I have not had the misfortune of feeling like I wasted a credit & my time listening to this juvenile drivel.

Narration made story seem silly.

The story is mediocre and the narration was very robotic. It made it frustrating to listen too.

Good fun!

whispersync, supernatural, women-sleuths, cozy-mystery, Florida-keys, friendship -----
Fun read with memorable characters who truly are. Set in the Florida Keys, it feels like a daylight version of NOLA with its assortment of psychics and witches. The publisher's blurb gives hints but doesn't convey the fun and humor. A good read!
Amy Melissa Bentley has the perky down perfectly.

Enjoyable, well written

Well done, suspenseful to the end. Good character development. I loved the tension in the relationship between best friends and the fact that I didn’t really suspect the guilty until revealed by the Arthur. Well done.

Very funny

It was nice to add some humor to another wonderful TriciaO’Malley story. This is my third time through the Tequila series.

Okay

I wanted soo much to love this audiobook but honestly it was just okay. I never really cared for any of the characters and won’t be purchasing other books in the series.

Little depth to characters

This book did not entertain me. The characters were too perfect vs. mean, or just plain cliche (rich gorgeous beau, gay BFF, ex-beauty queen nemesis, etc.). By the end of the book I did not like or empathise with a single person.
The narrator was overly sweet, but to give her her due, so was the heroine, so maybe she read it correctly.
