Our plan? Fake an engagement, have a showy wedding, solve our little problems, then amicably split. It's simple: I keep my B&B, and he shows his team he's serious about cleaning up his act. Perfect, right?

But Jake doesn't know how to do things by halves. Before I know it, I'm in Manhattan picking out lavish engagement rings and getting swept off my feet. I'm being paraded around charity galas like a princess and becoming the envy of every woman in the country. All this while he's diving headfirst into being a dad—without knowing he actually is one. It's practically foolproof, with hardly any room for this to spectacularly blow up in our faces.

Choppy

I liked the story but it was a little choppy. It was also a bit predictable and I think I would’ve liked to have more of the back story first. Like chapters about how they met, how their relationship developed and through the scandal. Maybe it was in the books before this one but I felt there should’ve been more of what happened before and then these chapters. The sex was hot but it felt incomplete so that’s why I’m giving it only 3 stars.

Frosty Harbor for the WIN!

The frosty harbor stories never seem to disappoint! Hearing Caroline and Jake story from start to finish was fantastic! I highly recommend it. Make sure you read the other two books first, so you know who all the players are.
