When he begins searching for answers, an assassin begins his own search - for him.

In Tehran, while hiding out from the Iranian secret police, CIA officer, Titus Ray, finds shelter with a group of Iranian Christians. Compelled by their unwavering faith, the battle-hardened agent becomes a believer shortly before they smuggle him out of Iran to freedom in Turkey.

Returning to the States, he discovers his Iranian mission failed because of political infighting within the Agency. After delivering a scathing indictment against the Deputy Director of Operations, he's forced to take a year's medical leave in Oklahoma.

Before leaving Langley, however, he discovers a Hezbollah hit man has targeted him for assassination. Now, while trying to figure out what it means to be a follower of Christ, he must decide if the Iranian couple he meets in Oklahoma has ties to the man who's trying to kill him, and if Nikki Saxon, a beautiful local detective, can be trusted with his secrets.

One Night in Tehran: A Titus Ray Thriller, my fourth read from author Luana Ehrlich. Well-written and enjoyable, edge-of-your-seat Christian Suspense. Narrator Chris Abell's narration adds to a very good book's enjoyment. I was given an Audible copy of this book and am voluntarily reading & reviewing it. As a believer, I particularly enjoyed the Christian sub-plot I look forward to reading more from this author, since I own 31 books by her that won't be a problem, next up Two Days in Caracas: A Titus Ray Thriller (Titus Ray Thrillers Book 2). (RIP Marley January 20, 2014 - July 24, 2018).

A 5 star edge-of-your-seat Christian Suspense read

This book is so well written, and it definitely hooked me in with the plots and sub-plots. It has the whole multifaceted CIA spy stuff going on with great characters, and Titus' newly found Christianity as part of his character. I also enjoyed the puppy. There is a thread that flows to the next book. I look forward to it! The performance is really very good!!!

At first glance a Christian Spy Thriller seems like a made up niche that cold never succeed. This one however really works. Yes, Titus has found God, yes he is a spy, and yes it all somehow works. Unique. No problem letting the kids listen with you.

I will definitely be moving on to number 2 next month.

Great beginning to unique series
