Aggie and her friends are such fun to listen to! y you never know what kind of trouble Aggie will get herself involved in! I loved listening to this quirky and fun mystery and would definitely reccomend this book to all!

Impressed

I really enjoyed this audiobook. It was easy to get into and held my (A.D.D) attention span from chapter one, all the way until the end. Sometimes I find that books that are considered cozy mysteries a little to...wholesome for my liking. And while this book is squeaky clean, it was still interesting. Also, I've never read any of the Aggie Underhill Mysteries before and this is book . I was a little worried that I would be lost starting this far into a series, but I wasn't lost at all. The narration was also excellent! Overall, I was pretty impressed with this little audiobook! <3

So good!

If you like mysteries, subtle and not-so-subtle jokes AN nosy attractive older ladies, this is the book for you. I absolutely loved this book and can’t say enough about it. I am so glad I downloaded it and can’t wait to read another. The narrator did a great job and I can only hope he reads the other books as well. The book and the narrator were perfect. I would definitely recommend this book to anyone.

I obtained a free code to listen to this book and I did so willingly.

This was quite an enjoyable read. Very realistically narrated. I enjoyed every minute of this book.

Great Cozy Mystery

This is a fun cozy mystery, fast-paced, with great characters. Aggie and her friends are hilarious during this cruise. Michael Carr did a good narration. I enjoyed my listening.

Well written story

The author wrote a very entertaining story, but the narrator and sound editor butchered it. Numerous mispronounced words and one instance of a few sentences repeated deterred from it's enjoyability.

Cruising mystery

One Hell of a Cruise is a mixed up bunch of people on a ship that had me in stitches. I loved the storyline and beautiful writing. I really liked the subtle and not so snarky comments. The only thing I did not like and I truly hate to say this is the narrator. He mispronounced words and just seemed all wrong for this book.
I received this audio book at my request. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review because this book is phenomenal and a must read.

Like an episode of a TV show

Since I haven’t read any of the previous books in the series this may explain my confusion over the characters. At times there seemed just too many middle aged women to keep track of (at least I THINK they’re middle aged).
The story such as it is takes place on a cruise ship and centres around two brothers who are transporting a young man back to his brother - but all is not as it seems.
The book really does read like an episode of an TV sitcom in which the cast have an “adventure” while on a 5 day cruise. There’s the stingy one who wants to drink more sodas than he paid for, the nosey one, the giggly one etc.
The language is occasionally clumsy:
“He’d never get back into a vehicle that she was behind the wheel of”
Or poorly edited :
“Mr and Mrs Smith were sharing a table with another couple since the dining room had been overly crowded they were forced to share with another couple”
Also there’s little chance that a utility knife or handgun would pass through security onboard ship.
The author also uses the word “sourfull” which unless the narrator is mispronouncing a word, is one I haven’t heard before.
If you like a very light story, where there is no swearing or sex or violence then this book (and I assume the entire series) might suit you very well. Something easy to read on your own cruise perhaps.
If you like actual mysteries with more meat on their bones and characters with some depth to them you might want to look elsewhere.

Aggie on a Cruise...What Could Go Wrong!

Another fun and crazy Aggie tale. I enjoyed hearing the crazy antics Aggie and her friends got up to on a cruise. The story itself was well written and full of adventure, humor, mystery and mayhem...typical Aggie Underhill. I loved it. The narration on the other hand, well, it fell completely flat and not just figuratively. Michael Carr really had no distinction between voices, next to no emotions and didn't bring the story any kind of life. The narration wasn't the worst I've ever listened to but I would have to say it was mediocre at best. A great story but sadly, the narration would have been better by someone else.

About Aggie

Aggie, the main character, an amateur sleuth, although there really wasn’t much sleuthing until closer to the end of the book. Perhaps the build-up was just too long, but I found it to be a bit slow until the last end of the story

A Crime On The Ocean Waves.

Aggie Underhill and friends are again in the middle of events as a kidnapping doesn't quite go to plan and Cupid's arrows are flying everywhere. This is a lovely installment of Aggie and her curiosity snooping out a mystery. The characters are well rounded with wonderful dialog and descriptions. The narrator enhances the listening experience.
