I so enjoyed this book .wonderful cast of characters. The narrator is fantastic can't wait for the next book in this series.

happy to leave off here

Was disappointed to see this series starts to require credits after this point; but that was before I listened to this book. Hmm, up to this book I was very much enjoying this series; but apart from feeling I'd missed a whole book of details (I mean seriously, Lacey has her own story and suddenly Nick is part of a pack? I even went hunting around to see if I'd missed a book somewhere), there were some TSTL moments and inconsistencies starting to creep in. Leaving this series here with no regrets

nice addition to the series

this entry in the series was available on audible plus but i also got the rest of the series on sale! it continues to be fun and we’ll see where it goes from here.
the protagonists are consistent and likeable and the villains are well done too. not bad for a relatively short book.

Loved It!

They keep getting better! Can't wait for the next one. Wish that Holly and Adam would get married at the manor!

I love the setting, a cute coastal town. I love that she is 30, and it takes place in modern day. I just wish the books were longer!

Consistently excellent writing /narration

Well Amanda Ronconi is an amazing narrator which is a huge factor in these fresh well written paranormal mysteries. The author avoids cliche and presents well crafted mysteries and well fleshed out characters.

So far this has been a great series. Love all the characters. Great plot. Love the narrator. Brings the characters to life.

A Plot Device

Not so much a story. It serves to backfill details and throws a story into the bargain. I never liked Holly much, but in this book, she comes across as a proper bwitch. Definitely wouldn’t be friends with her. She treats Adam terribly. Doesn’t really “love him”. I can’t stand her now. She has definitely developed, but not in a good way. She’s always been a rule breaker, but now she doesn’t care about the sensitivities of others while she barges ahead and takes what she wants. Her diminishing disregard for Posie’s protectiveness of her earthly possessions was enough to boot her. She makes messes and doesn’t clean up, she bosses everyone especially Nick, uses Evangeline, and only participates in Clarissa’s wedding because she gets to be first maid. Only works at the coffee shop to meet her own needs. She needs to be brought down to size a bit. Stupid girl can only really conjure stunning spells in a fight. Big whoop. Evangeline, a lesser witch, is much more creative. Summons tree roots to tie people down? That was some fast thinking! I like the Eagle SPA agent. Now THAT’S a character!
