People need to read this book to understand manufacturing. This book gives a great overview of the important aspects of manufacturing.

Written for a male

i realky enjoyed the book and will take all the items to heart. Just a little surprised that they addressed the reader to be male and not genderless. I have had everything happen to me as a leader.

Great easy application and relevant

This was a easy and great read. I’ll probably read it again. I will recommend this to my coworkers as well.

Long but comprehensive and reliable

No wishy washy theoretical expositions here. Experienced subject matter experts sharing the real perspective and solid advice. Covered I would say every single angle of approach to life as a Manufacturing Plant Manager. Can't see how it could be shorter and equally effective.

Good advice, pretty general

Good book. A lot of general advice like treat people with respect, don’t piss people off, etc. Good for young, new production supervisors in manufacturing.

The next step at any point

This should be a must be the book to read/to listen at any point of your plant journey. It would give you a profound perspective and help you define your next step.

Real and inspirational!

Very practical and full of real examples. Useful for novice and experienced supervisors. Be authentic and make decisions, at least 1/3 will drive the right results!

Be Present

Production driven guide. Pretty long and bland from a quality manager point of view. Didn’t feel much different than any other manufacturer guidance literature. Repetitive.
