When Xander Santos is left at the altar, he can't even drown his woes in alcohol. Newly single, newly pregnant, and facing down a future of single parenthood, he sneaks away from his friends and hits the bar anyway...for a cup of juice. If he can't drink, then at least he can have a moment alone to gather his thoughts.

Teacher Kent Coker is also facing a future without a loved one. He's only in town to settle his late mother's estate and clean out the piles upon piles of junk she left behind. Meeting his former student at a bar is a bit of serendipity, and after his shock at Xander's blatant come-on abates, Kent is only too happy to play the balm to Xander's bruised ego.

There was never supposed to be anything more than one wild night between them. But with Kent planning to stay in town for several more months, and the initial passion between them melting into a true, genuine affection, it's hard to stay away from one another.

There are only two problems: Kent doesn't plan to stay in town forever - and Xander's ex wants back into his life. Will Kent and Xander's fragile new love be worth the cost of fighting for it?

Carter’s Crossing is a quaint little town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, where some people go to get away, others arrive to start over, and plenty just find themselves when they’re lost or broken-hearted. This contemporary mpreg series is for adults only and is sure to leave you believing in the magic of true love and happily-ever-afters, and every audio book can be listened to in any order!

What a great way to enjoy a book! The character development, the story line flowed effortlessly and then having the book read by Mr. Bader was a complete enjoyment for this listener. Having read all the books in this series, then having the opportunity to listen to "Omega's Teacher", brought the story to life and it was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon! Please take the time to listen to the sample of this book. I know that you will not be disappointed. I really suggest that you get your own listening copy of this great book. An avid reader in Rock Tavern, NY.

Poor Xander! He's a mess, and with all the reasons in the world, TBH. Getting left at the altar, and pregnant will do that to you :P

And then, he finds Kent Coker, his former teacher and crush, who is having a really bad day himself. Xander decides that living his teen years' fantasy is the best way to get over of a hell of a day, and he goes for it.

From there on, they slowly fall in love, and yes, there is some angst and misunderstandings involved, but oh! It's so sweet! I really enjoyed it.

And Joseph Bader does such a great job with the narration! A wonderful choice :)

I'm really enjoying this series

OK so I liked the characters and the story and I really love the sweetness of this series but this one the audio is weird. First Bader has an English accent and it just doesn't fit and is pretty distracting, then you have Kent calling Zander 'Boy" and it comes off as creepy I'm not sure if its just the narration or not. It's not a bad listen just kinda odd and doesn't fit with the rest of the series.

Good continuation of the series

Omega's Teacher by Aiden Bates is the third book in The Carter's Crossing. This time we have the pregnant and jilted at alter omega, Xander, falling for teacher. Well his ex high school teach, Kent, who is back in town to settle his late mother's estate. The chemistry between them is scorching... and thier interactions are sweet and sexy. I loved their story.... and really enjoy this series. Oh, and that ex fiance is a tool.

The book is narrated by Joseph Bader and brings the characters to life. Very well done.

Xander Santos has been left at the alter. Single now and pregnant but can't drink his sorrows away with a baby on the way. Can a chance meeting in the bar while drinking carrot juice help him take his mind off his problems? Xander sees his high school history teacher, Kent Coker, across the bar. Kent is alone with no one to love. He's in town to sell his family home after his mother passes away. What will life deal this unlikely pair? I once again enjoyed another Carter's Crossing book. Joseph Bader's English accent fit the character's dialog perfectly. I was surprised. Recommend this book and the whole series.
