Publisher's Summary

Thomas O'Leary is used to being seen as "bad news". The O'Leary family doesn't have a great reputation around these parts, and by all accounts Thomas is just like them - a little rebellious, a little roguish, and a lot of trouble. No one would know that underneath that frank exterior is a devoted, faithful man with a heart of gold.

Michael Taggart may have grown up with a silver spoon, but that doesn't mean he doesn't work hard and play harder. He just has one big weakness - the need to please his family and deal with the wreckage of their outstanding drama, a pressure that's already caused him to turn away from his chance at love once before.

The Taggarts and the O'Learys have been feuding longer than anyone can remember, both families laying claim to the same stretch of land. Two families. Two men. And one legacy of scorching passion. Can these two supposed enemies move past the spark of aggression to break the feud, discover their second chance at love, and find their own happily ever after?

Carter’s Crossing is a quaint little town nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, where some people go to get away, others arrive to start over, and plenty just find themselves when they’re lost or broken hearted. This contemporary mpreg series is for adults only and is sure to leave you believing in the magic of true love and happily ever afters!

Hot and Interesting at the same time

I found this book very interesting. it combines past present and futuristic ways. It was easy to keep up with the the storyline and had some pretty hot sex as well.
the narrator was good as well.

Family Feud

Great story with star-crossed lovers, secrets, family drama, ghosts, and a little magic. Thomas and Michael are in love, but they don't even recognize it until Thomas falls pregnant. Still, is attraction or even love enough when their families have been feuding for generations? Separated by family drama and a long-standing feud, will they defy their families to be together or will they let their love fall victim to history? Loved the well-drawn characters and the unexpected plot twists that brought the lovers to their HEA.

The narration was fun and sweet. I loved the personas given to Michael and Thomas as they poked fun at and teased each other.

I received an ARC from the author, and have voluntarily left this honest review.

Michael & Thomas

I loved Michael and Thomas' story, almost as much as all the stories about the original Carter's Crossing Michael and Thomas. Michael has a difficult time standing up to his overbearing mother which makes their relationship strained.

Rival Families!

A great story of rival families whose children are having an affair. Thomas and Micahel have been seeing each other secretly but never make it official because their families have hated each other for years. They broke it off once because Michael wasn't willing to tell his family but now a few years later, they're back to seeing one another in secret as their families fight over land ownership. I really admire Thomas' strength and his willingness to face everything on his own so that Michael won't lose his family. There were times I wanted to smack Michael and tell him to grow a pair! I really enjoyed how everything ended up. The narrator did a wonderful portrayal of the characters and the story. I voluntarily reviewed a gifted copy of this audiobook..

Great Story about Rival Families

This was an interesting light mystery about two families fighting over who had the rights on a piece of land. The two families have been at it for years, like since around 1826 when the Charter house burned down and there weren’t any records to prove who owned the land.

Thomas and Michael were put in the middle. Having to help their own families to figure it out and find evidence, putting the two against each other. Which was uncomfortable for both as they had a relationship of sorts in the beginning. All this changes and both men are faced with choices about not only their future together, but with their families as well.

I really enjoyed this story line and found both main characters likable. The epilogue was sweet and I found myself re-listening to in a few times.

This is the first book I’ve heard from Robin Woodson and I think he did a good job. Clean and clear, easy to understand.

Family feud and sleuthing

This is the story of two men from two families that have been fighting over a piece of land for years. Different sides of the battle, but a rivalry can sometimes bring innocents from the two sides together.

The two MCs are forced to work together to find the missing evidence that will prove the case one way or another. However, it's not really a hardship, because both men find physical relief when they get together.

When the unexpected happens, the relationship starts to change. Unfortunately, the court case is getting out of control. But, with a little help from the past, the MCs are finally able to end the feud.

The narrator did a great job with the narration. The characters are well differentiated and the pace is consistent.

MM Pregnancy, Hatfield and Mccoy’s Type Story

The age old troupe of two people who became involved in secret in high school, one rich and one from the wrong side of the tracks...family feud over property.
The twists in ole two men, some paranormal and a male pregnancy.
All and all the story doesn’t really deviate fro, the usual troupe..two lovers struggling with love for each other and their families
Nice characters..nicely done..no problem with it being two men...it just isn’t really a troupe that has ever done much for me.
Narrator did a nice job.
so if this is a troupe you like you will enjoy this audiobook

as good as the ebook

The story is always 4 or 5 stars, because if I wouldn't like the story as ebook, I wouldn't listen to the audiobook.

The performance from the narrator is also very important for me. I can't listen to a lot, because my English as a non-native-speaker isn't so perfect to follow a whole story over hours, when the narrator speaks too fast or too sloppy. Normally I have to SEE the person, who is talking to me in English. It took me a little bit, to come into the narrator, but at the end, it worked. I only have to take a few breaks between. I'm just not yet finish with the book, but I listen enough to give a review.

PLEASE READ MY RATING SYSTEM!!!

To my ratings:

5* - very very good
it's like an A+

4* - very good and will be often re-listening
it's like an A

3* - it's more then a one-time-listening, but not more then twice a year.
it's like a B

A family feud!

Thomas and Michael aren’t supposed to be together. Their families have been enemies forever, fighting over land and whatnot. This is a sweet story of two men who surely belong together but their family names stand in their way. I enjoyed the secrets unveiled and how all ended up where it always should’ve been in a quaint town with wonderful characters.
The narration was good and helped with the feels of the book.

Enjoy

I enjoyed all the books in Carters Crossing and I have loved all the characters but these two are my favourite. You don’t have to have read all the series but it does help in knowing the ‘cast’ from previous books.
