it’s that good!

This audiobook has a lot of useful knowledge for someone thinking of going off-grid for the first time. It focuses on design, cost, planning. It does not go into any phase of growing your own food but most everything else is covered.

Content Is Great; Narrator Not So Much

I was very happy to see this book come up in my suggested titles during a recent sale. I really expected great things and hoped to learn a lot. But I cannot finish the audiobook. The content so far is fantastic, but I just can't tolerate the narrator. He seems to think that he is reading to a room full of backward three-year-olds who need a lot of fake enthusiasm and condescension to understand the point. I'm returning the audio version and putting the print version on my To Buy list!

Thank u

I especially liked how he cut out all of his unnecessary expenses leading up to going off-grid. It really is a minimalistic existence. This book did not glorify the lifestyle and it expressed the difficulty of living off-grid. It did not disappoint. I recommend anyone thinking of living off-grid to listen to this book first.

helpful

Off-the-grid living might not have been on your mind some years ago, but since COVID and its economic impact, I have found the idea of a new life away from the rat race more appealing.

It's a well-recorded audible

It's a well-recorded audible by a person who really believes in off-grid living. If you are like me, work from home during covid-19 quarantine, you may ask yourself about living somewhere else. Not in a big city but at the seaside or in a cute small town. And the author of this book shows you the new reality that you can build by yourself. Remember, the author gives you an exhaustive review but not a step-by-step guide.

A good place to start.

This is a good beginner-level guide to getting off the grid and living a simpler life. The book isn't very long but it's packed with information that newbies will find invaluable. I hope the author follows this up with a more in-depth study, but this is a very good place to start.

Much more information

The audiobook isn't very long but it's jammed with the knowledge that newbies will find valuable. I hope the writer follows this up with a more in-depth study, but this is a very good place to start. This book shows how you can live free of the modern trap of connectivity, where everything you say and does become part of the worldwide glut of information overload.

Does this audiobook include some knowledge that's largely common sense? Okay. Nevertheless, it's a great source if you're looking to dive into the idea, and beginning steps, of off-grid living. When in the analysis phase, things can get a bit unbelievable

Great information!

This audiobook has wonderful knowledge for anyone thinking off-grid living. The most enjoyable part was that the writer doesn't sugarcoat anything and makes it seem easier than it truly is. I work in solar energy and that piqued my interest in this book for the environmental phase but the phase of privacy also comes into play as well.

The users guide to life!

I nevermore explained why I was so in tuned and sensitive before and this audiobook has changed how I look at my life and how I work in life. I feel like I have a user guidebook for me now. If you believe your overly empathetic this book is a great one.
