Publisher's summary

She walked away from him once. But when she literally walks back into him—and promptly bursts into tears—he knows his heart is in trouble....

Five years ago, Spencer offered Sophie forever. But she turned down his proposal and moved away to pursue her career. Sure, he still wishes things had turned out differently, but time and distance have eased the ache. He’s plenty content with his life managing the family cherry orchard in the small town of Hope Springs, where he never has to worry about running into her.

Sophie knows returning to Hope Springs to visit her dying grandmother is a risk. For one thing, her family is a mess. And for another, Spencer lives there. But how can she let Nana go without saying goodbye? Besides, she’ll be in and out of town so fast, she’ll never even see Spencer.

So much for the best laid plans. When Sophie not only runs into Spencer at the hospital but bursts into tears right there in front of him, she’s unprepared for the way he is there for her. And for the old feelings he stirs up. Feelings that make her question the decision she made five years ago.

For his part, Spencer knows he should guard his heart. But the more time he spends with Sophie, the more he senses there’s something different about her now. Something that makes him think maybe God is giving them a second chance at forever.

A binge listen you don’t want to end. Fall in love with Hope Springs today!

Great listen!

Valerie is such a good story teller. I had the honor of reviewing this audible version for her. Sophie and Spencer are an item as they are growing up, but when he proposes she declines and moves to the city life to start a career. Her career is everything to her and the job requires everything from her. Perfect world for both of them until her grandmother is dying. Sophie has/wants to leave to go be with her grandmother. Of course her boss doesn't understand and gives her an ultimatum that she may lose her next step up the ladder if she leaves. Sophie of course makes the right choice and goes to see her grandma in the hospital as she is dying. Sophie runs into her old flame Spencer and sparks still fly. Can they get over the past and rekindle the flame of their lost years? Will Sophie go back to the city and her life there, or can she realize the trap in the industry to suck her dry? Great read and a must read to find out the answers:)

A Second Chance at Love!

Not Until Forever is a wonderful second chance love story. I loved the connection and attraction that these two felt for each other even after five years apart. The narrator did a great job and made the story one that I really enjoyed listening to.

This is a story that I read a few years ago in ebook format, but it was so nice to be able to listen to the book this time around. I really felt for Spencer and the way Sophie had broken his heart years earlier. But time and events that happen in this story could chance Sophie's perspective and perhaps finally give them a chance at love together.

Enjoyable

I really enjoyed the audiobook version of this book. Sophie and Spencer parted ways in college. Now she’s back in town, to see her dying grandmother. Has she changed? Has he? This is a lovely Christian romance. Faith is part of the mix, but is downplayed in the sense that it’s not always in your face; not that it’s not important. This is a nice addition to the series. I received a free copy of the audiobook, with no obligation.

Another great listen

I love reading audio books and this one didn’t disappoint. I’ve actually read it twice not realizing. But just kept it on because it was enjoyable. I’m looking forward to others in the series!

Great Story

I had a free copy of this book, but this is my voluntary and honest opinion. Sophie always thought she knew what she wanted, but when she returns to Hope Springs as her grandmother is dying, she reconnects with her college sweetheart, Spencer who makes her rethink her priorities. She has always wanted her parents’ approval, but they seem to avoid each other and don’t approve of Spencer. A heartwarming story of second chances, and reconnecting with God. I enjoyed listening to the book and the narrator was great.

Second chances!

Sophia and Spencer were in a relationship during college but then life happened. Sophia wanted a career in real estate development and was on the way to being at the top. Spencer needed to stay on the farm and help his parents. When he had asked Sophia to marry him she had to say no because she wanted more.

Sophia’s grandmother is gravely ill and Sophia goes to be with her and she accidentally runs into Spencer at the hospital. Sophia knew she was in trouble when she saw him and he felt the same.

Valerie writes such sweet and clean romances that just make things feel right. This was an audiobook and the narrator did a wonderful job. I would definitely recommend you grab this book and listen to it you won’t be disappointed!

I received this from the author for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

It's hard to decide what you really want

Sophie & Spencer each find it hard to determine what they really want in this life. If she keeps her job in Chicago & Spencer keeps working on the family farm they can't have each other. They struggle with their decisions while Sophie is back home with her grandmother. The love for each other is still there. I enjoyed how the story was written & how it ended. I especially enjoyed Ms. Norman's reading. She has a good voice for narration. I was given an audible copy of the book by the author. I choose to write this review.
