A Favorite!

It has been awhile since I read Always You and I had forgotten exactly how much I loved this story! This time I listened to the audio version of the novel and I am so happy I did. The narrator did a great job of bringing the tale to life. I really enjoyed meeting Matt and Lauren again, cringing at their first meeting, and being impressed with the way Matt treated Lauren in that particular situation. It was so embarrassing for her, yet he treated her so kindly.

These two had some things to overcome before they could find their happiness together. Matt was embarrassed about the way he had wasted five years of his life wanting a woman who was content to string him along and play with his emotions. I was glad that he was able to get his focus off of her and back onto God.

I had compassion for Lauren as she began developing feelings for Matt, yet was convinced that she would only be treated as a rebound girl if she gave into her feelings. I liked that she was able to thrive in the new environment she was in, away from the political circle that her family was involved in.

I, once again, loved this story from start to finish. I highly recommend this book and the entire Murphy Brothers series.

Loved it! Jennifer Rodewald has wonderful stories full of redemption, forgiveness, growth, and little bits of humor. The narration added perfectly to the story.
