Great shifter story

Such a fun story full of wonderful and some quirky characters, A love story with some tears and laughter. With werewolves, dragons and a vampire chained in a dungeon, two werewolves who are mates except one can't shift which is a no no for mated couples. Their love will have to sustain them so they can be together and stay alive. I received a complimentary audio and I am voluntarily reviewing.

A fun read by Annie Nicholas

The Not This series is a fun series that has paranormals finding love in strange places and fumbling the courtship terribly. Not His Werewolf centers on Ken, werewolf and #2 in the pack order and Betty, a half werewolf who can't shift. These two are star crossed lovers who's different backgrounds make for misunderstandings and a rocky path to a HEA. Ms. Nicholas' writing style is witty and her characters are ones you can root for. B.J. Harrison does a fine job creating voices for each characters. If you like romantic comedies with a bit of bite, check this one out. Enjoy!

FANTASTIC. l really enjoyed this book, the narrator's voice suits the characters and portrayed the emotions beautifully. Joyful, thats how l thought of the main character, she has bad luck but takes in all in her stride with a dose of good humour and wit.
I had a good chuckle within the first few pages and plenty of smiles thereafter. This is a feel good, happy ever after story that you are sure to enjoy!

Not His Werewolf is the second book in the Not This Series, but can be listened to as a stand alone. Betty has always known that she’s different. Half human, half werewolf, she was banished from her pack at 18 when she couldn’t shift. Now she meets Ken under crazy circumstances and he’s determined that she’s his soul mate - which can only happen if she’s a shifter. Now her life is on the line and Ken has to prove she can shift, but can he convince her that he’s worth the work?

Ohhh this book is so much fun and I absolutely love Betty and Ken! There’s a lot that happens in this book and we are introduced to some pretty intense pack politics, challenges, and what happens when two stubborn people are set up by fate to be together! Betty has a bit of a heartbreaking past, but I love that she’s found her own little nook with her rescued dogs! I love that Ken is willing to do anything to be with his soul mate, and I love that she opens his eyes to life outside of being pack Beta. They have a lot of passion and fun, but I love that there’s some serious issues in this story, too. The ending is interesting, but I absolutely love it, and I love the consequences of it in the following books! I loved listening to this book, and the narrator did a fabulous job bringing the characters to life for me. I love this series, and would definitely recommend listening to this book!

Not His Werewolf

I absolutely love BJ Harrison’s narrations. He brings the book to life with his voices and inflections. And this story is no different. An already amazing story in book version this audio version creates a whole other dimension. Betty and Ken have a rough start, especially as Ken gets tranq’d and Betty is a human, therefore unable to be a soul mate. Their story is one of trials to overcome and fight.

What a great story this is Betty cant seem to shift, and although her pack has tried everything she’s been declared non shifting and leaves. Ken comes across the lovely Betty but he already knows about her due to coming into his pack territory. Ken can sense that Betty should and could be shifting but something is blocking it. Due to some strange events lets say Ken and Betty may get the chance to be true, true mates.

love this series!

each story only gets better. the dragons are crazy! great narrator. easy to loose all track of time listening.

Hilarious, snarky shifters

This is the second book in an hilarious, snarky paranormal series. While there are plenty of laughs, the author did a great job of combining them with angst, pain and anger to create an entertaining, hard to put down story. BJ Harrison lends even more depth to the story with his on point narration.

Love it

This is book 1 in the series and is a stand alone book with a wonderful HEA. Awesome roller coaster ride of emotions. I recommend this book to all shifter lovers. Did not want to stop listening to go to bed. Happy listening.

ABSOLUTELY ENTERTAINING!

NOT HIS WEREWOLF is the second book in the Not This series. Though it is best to read them in the order of release, I had not read the first and was not at all lost.

Absolutely entertaining! Especially when enjoyed as an audiobook. I F-loved this book and I want more of this series. It is fast-paced, well crafted, sexy, funny, quirky, and full of the unexpected. It left me smiling for days.

I loved all of the characters. Their mistakes and their passions are bigger than life. They drew me in and kept me captive in a world I didn’t want to escape.

This is the first book I have read from Annie Nicholas. I will not let it be my last.

Narration: B.J. Harrison did an amazing job of bringing these characters to life. I fully expected to start seeing dragons flying over my car as I was driving home and listening to NOT HIS WEREWOLF. I would love to listen to more from this talented presenter.

Planning ahead: Book five is called NOT HER ALPHA, but it’s so far away from book two! I know that eventually Ryota is going to get his mate. Until then, he is aces at being the perpetual grump! I also know that he deserves that mate. He has a heart of gold that is hidden by his gruff exterior. There are already many hints in that direction and I am looking forward to the discoveries to be found there in him.
