Suspenseful second chance romance!

Nomad is a second chance, opposites attract romance. Willow and Nomad’s story is twisty and suspenseful with plenty of drama and will-they-won’t they moments to keep me glued to the story.

C.J. Bloom and Connor Crais do an excellent job narrating, but I have to say that Connor Crais really knocked it out of the park for me. He was the perfect Nomad and made getting lost in the story a treat!

Logan & Willow

I enjoyed this story. I haven't read any of the other books in the Scarred Hearts series. You don't need to in order to enjoy this one. I loved the suspense and fast-paced action though, so I added the others to my Wish List. I previously listened to one other S.M. West audiobk and was also action-packed and twisty, which I absolutely love! I chose this based on the narrators--Connor Crais and CJ Bloom -- who were perfect here! Great listening experience.

Opposites Attract Romance

Nomad by S.M West is a opposites attract romance that I listened to on audio narrated by C.J. Bloom and Connor Crais. This is the third book in the Scarred Hearts series and can be read as a standalone.

I loved the relationship that bloomed between Logan and Willow. Their relationship was a bit messy but you couldn't help but root for them. I really enjoyed getting both of their points of view throughout the book. It really brought the story to life.

C.J. and Connor did a great job on the narration. I look forward to listening to more of their work in the future.

I would recommend this book if you like opposites attract romances, second chance romances, contemporary romance, or romantic suspense.

Search for the Black Box

Logan and Willow have... quite the... adventure... to go with their reunion. The story kept me engaged all the way through and I really enjoyed it - including the steamy reunion that required much practice to get just right. 🔥❤💥🎉

I really like how Logan slowly realizes the error of his ways, especially how his pick-up-and-leave-without-telling-anyone might actually leave those who care about him hurt and lost. I also like how he begins to occasionally ask for help.

As for Willow, she has the patience of a saint, especially with Logan and her questionably responsible brothers. I would not have been so understanding. 🤔😄

I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators are CJ Bloom and Connor Crais. I've enjoyed several books that each has brought sound to and I was very happy to have them in my ears. I like CJ a lot but Connor? I love his voice. It melts me like butter.

It didn’t work for me

Willow, nosy woman! Infuriatingly so and kinda vapid. Logan keeping secrets makes it worse and he has a it’s-all-my-fault complex. I absolutely hate that Logan took delight in her being jealous, because jealousy is the most useless of all the emotions there are, and that someone would take delight in that just…eww! This kind of book annoys me. Too busy, no chemistry between the MCs and that makes me question if I want to keep going with the rest of the books in this series but I bought them all on sale.

Cherry on top? Connor was stopped narrating mid-hot scene and while CJ picked it up from there, but even Queen CJ doesn’t beat my 1000% male POV for the hot parks imperative need. He makes up for it later.

Anyway, their narration was on point, but the story wasn’t.
