Good and bad dark.
New author for me. Ooh this was interesting! Dark and hot af towards the end. Voss better go all John Wick on Carl! 🤬😭 I've come close to DNF'ing this for the warning. My one beef.

Dark and disturbing
Yes this book is pretty disturbing but if you’ve read other books by Keri Lake than you shouldn’t be too surprised. The narrators do a wonderful job, in fact at times the voice of the Sandman is almost too creepy.

so I feel like I wasted time listening to this. the entire story doesn't answer any questions of why the sandman after her. the whole book is just a long introduction on each character. could have read the summary on each character and went to number two to find out whose the sand man and why he wants nola
