Wonderful story full of challenges, bittersweet moments, loyalty, determination, painful amazing moments…. It keep me asking what is next!

PERFECT erotic adventure romance!

I didn't mind at all that the story was somewhat predictable.. it was exactly how this genre SHOULD be written. Exciting story, steamy romance, storybook characters.. but besides the superb narration (which felt like sliding into a hot soapy bath after a long day), the difference for me was the vocabulary used throughout.. tasteful, imaginative, but sexy as hell. This was a book that I could barely wait to find out what happened, even though I knew, and then I was so sad that it was over.. what fun!

Oh how I Loved this story

I cannot imagine how anyone can give a bad review on this novel. 5 stars straight across for an exceptional story. A perfect pirate romance story. Lauren Smith excelled from beginning to end. Close to the ending I actually believed it was going to end horribly but after a half box of tissues, thank goodness Lauren figured out how to give us readers a HEA. I now place Lauren Smith in the very top of favorite authors. Now, after listening to a total of 137 audio books I can honestly say that narrator Cornell Collins is one of the absolute best out there. His voice can lull you into a trance. So, onto the next in this series with his best friend but first to the store I go for a big supply of tissues.

Amazing book

I couldn't stop listening to it... every time I tried I was like what's going to happen I'll listen a little more... Mr Collins has a voice that puts the mystery in the story so you just want to keep listening and Lauren Smith wrote an amazing story she put you in the book like you were living it

A story a beautiful as the voice telling it!

This book was flawless! The narrator was perfect for the story being told and have it additional depth and richness... not that the book needed any help. I've not been this taken by a book in a long while and to be pulled in so completely but the story and the storyteller... his rich voice, emotion, and clear enjoyment of the reading was perfection. I was absolutely destroyed when I realized he doesn't narrate the second novel in the series. I will say, Dominic and Robbie will haunt my thoughts and inspire my imagination for a while. They were so well written I will miss them.
