good clean listen

this writer shows that a book doesn't have to have foul language or sex to have a good story. it is a little wordy with descriptions but I like that. I don't want my listen to be over with right away. i hope for more to be done in this cozy series. I love that the story seems like it's actually happening and not like I'm just listening to so eo especially writing. This narrator is wonderful.

Food Wars Were Never So Entertaining

Setting the Scene: Carley's gearing up for the Halloween competition when the neighboring sub shop owner accuses her of foul play. Soon after, he is found murdered in his shop. With her reputation and freedom on the line, Carley finds herself investigating again.

What I Thought: I enjoyed visiting Carley and friends in Linda Reilly's second outing at the Vermont cheesy eatery. The storyline was well plotted, the dialogue entertaining, and the relationships relatable. FAIR WARNING: Reading this book may lead to uncontrollable cravings for grilled cheese sandwiches of all kinds.

I love this series!

Another fantastic mystery. I really like the main and recurring characters, and wish I could pop into the restaurant to enjoy a grilled cheese myself. I was able to figure out the killer this time ahead of the reveal, but just barely and I still wasn’t 100%. It was so much fun sorting through the clues and suspects. I can’t wait for the next in the series!

I enjoyed following the antics of the main character. I also love to hear what new grilled cheese sandwich’s are offered. I look forward to the next in the series.

Kept me in suspense

It was hard to figure out the mystery until the end. The characters were brought to life by the narrator with great enthusiasm.
