Kind of called it.

Yes, they unnecessarily carried out the issue in this book. Tore me apart but it was an all around good book. It was so annoying that it took someone so long to tell him to get over himself and his "identity crisis", that's the problem that took too long. Kind of dumb. Again, female narrator is whispering the whole time, that is just annoying. I do like how they came out with better all around relationships at the end so, yes the conflict was necessary, it was just too long. Still a good listen, good ending to this couples story. Not sure about listening to the next since that is an even longer 2 book series for the next couple. We will see.

Story good narration not great

I have to agree with the other ratings that said Devon Grace narration in whisper tones. The story was good but it feel
So much like a cliff hanger making you continue the series to see what happens next.

Abrupt end?

Suddenly “the board” wanted Killian back at the helm (last chapter) after the preceding few chapters went off in a different direction. Seemed like the writer wanted to wrap up the story but either ran out of or didn’t want to develop ideas to make the story flow better.
Otherwise the narration was very good, Jason Clarke’s voice is awesome per usual.

If this book wasn't free for me, I may have not lessened to it, it felt long. and dragged. I usually love a long book. this one you knew was long. I seemed to repeat itself in actions not necessarily word. At one point I thought we are doing that again.

Loved this one too!!

It took a while for the HEA for Killian and Claire but worth it. Some twists and turns and enjoying the series. I am a big fan of Jason Clarke and that take no prisoners sexy voice!!!!! Looking forward to the next chapter. Although Trey was a bummer he was an integral part of the first book bringing things to point. On to the next book, happily of course. Thank you Jason and Devon for some great narration too.

Great Series!

Hard to listen to the female narrator whispering all the time. I hope I can make it through the next book.

I really enjoyed reading this book. I look forward to reading more books by this author in the near future.

Female performer

The story is good, and so are the performers WHEN Devon Grace speaks in a normal tone of voice! Her whisper talk throughout both books was EXCRUCIATING! And very hard to hear while driving down the freeway. It's like she has a baby asleep on her chest and is afraid to wake them. Jason Clarke was great as usual. I liked his character so much I tortured myself by finishing the first book and the second with Devon Grace as the co performer.

Hell no

Killian worked my nerves this whole book. he does not deserve Clair. He continually destroyed her and she just took him pack so easily. Other than that I enjoyed the book. The erotic parts were hot as hell and I liked other characters redemption arcs.
