Nadia Wolf had one wish, and it wasn't for the latest designer purse, fashion-forward clothing, or even a handsome man to marry - although, that would be acceptable too. It only took one hand to make tournament history and leave them both hot under the collar. But before they could settle their spicy wager, the million dollar prize disappeared in front of an audience. Not one witness could explain what happened or where the money disappeared to.Greyson Miller CEO of the Lost City Casino had a mystery to solve. With Greyson's overwhelming allure, Nadia has to keep both her head in the game and her hands to herself.

Good book and narrator
This isn't the type of book I usually read/listen to but it was recommended by a friend so I gave it a shot. I was pleasantly surprised. The story captivated my attention and the narrator was great. It seemed unusual to have someone with a British accent at first but she has a very nice voice and didn't try to over play the characters like I've heard in lots of other books. It felt more like someone reading me a story than a one person, over acted play and I liked that. I liked the character of Nadia and I didn't feel like it was predictable. I'm looking forward to listening to High Stakes.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I would definitely recommend this audiobook. It's a very good story and kept my interest throughout.
What about Wendy Darling’s performance did you like?
She did a good job. Easy to understand.
Great Story, horrible narrator
Would you consider the audio edition of The Big Blind to be better than the print version?
No, because I can do my own voices in my head when I am reading it. With the audiobook I have to listen to Ms. Darling's version and they just aren't very good - everyone sounds the same and for quick back and forth conversations, it is difficult to figure out who is saying what.
Would you be willing to try another one of Wendy Darling’s performances?
Yes, but only because I like the Nadia Wolf series not because of Ms. Darling's contribution
