Publisher's Summary

Tatum is brought up in a violent, male-dominated household, but she is not an obvious victim, as she learns how to survive and then fight. Jack comes from a dysfunctional family and as a result, gathers a number of personality disorders. They both come from the same fictional city in northern England and are seemingly unconnected.

Their CVs wouldn’t usually attract attention, but for terrorist and direct-action groups - they were perfect. Here begins the first installment of the New Reform Quartet, a political thriller and an alternative history that runs from the 1980s to the present day and beyond.

Please note, this is not for the squeamish, faint-hearted, or easily offended, as it contains bad language, violence, and scenes that border on horror.

UGH

Honestly, I'm not sure I can find anything positive to say about this. The narration was slow, uncaring and almost devoid of emotion. That actually matched well with the story which was wandering, tediously slow, and boring beyond belief. The only reason I didn't stop listening to it was that I'd promised a review and I kept hoping it would get better so I could find something positive to write. Sorry but IMO this one is a stinker.

I received a copy of this book at my request in exchange for a fair review.

Worth a read

New Reform. I received a free copy of this audio book at my own request and voluntarily leave this honest review.
Here goes. I found the book lacked the polish we've come to expect. It is raw and emotional and that is its strength. A good plot that had many threads . Be warned that there is some bad language in the book. in context the main characters are young people with poor education.
The book would have benefited from a professional narrator. The author tried but in my opinion he is an author first.
Definitely worth the time to read.
