Rebecca Soler is the best max ever. The other audio books for this series are OK but the ones Rebecca Soler does are my absolute favorite. She really brought max and the rest of the flock to life. Rebecca Soler, if you're reading this, please narrate the other books in this series. You are the perfect max.

I had read the 8 books some time back. Listening to this, until some midpoint, I thought that I was into a new story; disappointed when I began recognizing the storyline. No character should be forced to go through (trauma and faux love) what Patterson puts Max through. And I did not like having to listen to the sound effects, which is sad because Soler was a great reader. The earlier books thrilled me more than the latter ones.

print was better
