The female narrator…. 🥴

Her voice is annoying is mess. It’s whiny. It’s like she’s trying to be seductive or something. It’s unnatural. I loved the male narrator and the story. The only reason I finished the book is because I love A. L. Jackson’s books.

unexpectedly emotional read for me

What an unexpectedly emotional read! I was blown away by the depth of the characters and the lengths they went to and things they went through. I love the fight each of them had and how the push and pull between them was so well balanced.
The narrators did a fantastic job bringing these characters to life.

“Even if I can’t see you, I’ll know you’re there, and I’ll find my way to you.”

Never Look Back is a second chance love story that is exploding with emotion. The beautiful, romantic prose will have you feeling EVERYTHING. With a past that tore them apart due to lies, betrayal and misconceptions, Logan and Aster are FIRE and their connection is palpable.

“He’d always been my heart’s direction. I wasn’t sure there was anywhere else I could have gone.”

Bound by a promise that forced her into a life she did not want, Aster has just been surviving for seven years. When she sees Logan again, she grasps at the chance to reclaim her life, but will their past destroy them all over again?

Aster broke my heart. She had been through so much pain in her life and yet her spirit was still so beautifully pure. I loved her strength and her determination to fight for what she wanted.

Logan was such a revelation. His charming, full of life, playboy exterior hide a heart that was in pieces. His devotion to Aster was breathtaking and couldn’t be denied even when he pretending to hate her.

“We were always supposed to be together. We just got lost along the way.”

The journey that these traveled was excruciatingly difficult and it was rife with pain and heartbreak, but watching them rebuild their relationship gave me all the feels. Their passionate banter and sizzling chemistry leapt of the page.

“Everything I’d ever done had been done for her. Every lie told in her favor.”

I both listened and read this amazing book. The audio is narrated by Andi Arndt and Zachary Weber. They were superb. Their voices reflected all the emotional turmoil and love that these two characters felt and made me fall in love with the story even more.

“We fight together. We live together. We love forever.”

Full of angst, emotional and physical trauma, lies, betrayal, revenge, greed, and passion, Aster and Logan’s story will take you on a heartbreaking journey of love and loss. These two faced so much pain and heartache that each were afraid to hope for the future that both thought was lost. Their story is riddled with so much angst yet you know that these two truly belong together and will fight for their chance. This is a stunning conclusion to the Redemption Series and I loved every minute.

Logan and Astor 💜💜

My goodness! No one does a second chance romance like A.L. Jackson! I love how she does flashbacks and it's always so effective! Every time I see there is a jump back in time, I know I'm about to find out something juicy! el This book takes place
over 30 days but it goes by so fast! It's very fast-paced and I felt like I was flying through these pages!
I have been looking forward to Logan's story ever since we met him in Trent's kitchen in Give Me A Reason. Those green eyes had me hooked! I knew there would be someone special for Logan. I never expected the heartbreak I actually got! My heart
hurt for Logan and Astor Rose's story because it was doomed from the start! They had so much working against them and what they were able to find was so beautiful! I like that they met as young adults (18/19) because this definitely was not puppy love! 🥵
I think this couple works so well because Astor Rose is the swirl to Logan's straight line. She makes him see color and detail and light. He grounds her and keeps her realistic and settles her. For all the poetry Astor has for him, Logan connects it to something
concrete or vice versa. It was so pleasant to read them be so perfectly in sync with each other. Their love its own language. (in Jackson's cadence ☺️)
Getting swept up in Jackson's stories is always a good time for me. Never Look Back was no exception! Her writing really brings you front and center with these characters as if you are sitting in the room watching these events transpire with your own two eyes! It's beautiful and tragic but the HEA in this story was so perfect for this couple! I can't wait to read it again. Hopefully, it won't hurt as much!

A gripping, emotional second-chance romance

Wow. After reading the other two Redemption Hills books, I never would have guessed that fun-loving playboy Uncle Logan was hiding such a traumatic past, covering up years of agony and pain for having lost his first love.

Aster and Logan's story is heartbreaking and beautiful. There is so much hurt between them, but a bright love that never died between Logan and his Little Star. It's ugly when they first see each other seven years after they were ripped apart. And the 30-day bet that Logan won with Aster as his prize was born out of revenge. But as their walls crumbled, it was crystal clear just how much they both still loved one another.

Zachary Webber and Erin Mallon beautifully brought Logan and Aster's story to life as the timeline goes back and forth from the past to the present. They hit every nuance of the pain and hurt, as well as every ounce of the love and passion and reconnection that these characters shared.

Sweet romance

Loved the characters, Aster and Logan. The love Logan had for Aster was amazing, and their backstory was so heartbreaking. Could have used more action. Narration was spot on.

a good story...a bit verbally repetitive, saying the same words over and over in similar ways...but great narrators.

Made my heart happy!

Honestly, on starting this book I was skeptical… how could book 3 beat the previous 2 books in the Redemption hills series? But wow, what a surprise, Trent will always stay the nr 1 Lawson brother in my heart but Logan came out of no where. The characters were likeable, the story kept me hooked and the bonus scene… just wow. Absolutely adored it!

This is a must read. Its my favorite book all time, hands down. The author did a great job.
