I actually cried over Alex's internal angst. his poor self esteem is something I can relate to.

My new favorite author

Once again, everything is perfect. The story, the performers, everything. The story itself is romantic, poignant, at times heartbreaking, and very hot. Read Willow Dixon or perish!

Awesome

I absolutely love this one, it’s a bit emotional. I love that different books ties in to books from other series. Like the first book I read from this author is “flipping the script” form Legacy Mechanics series, where one of the main characters Jesse is step siblings with Quinn from “Dad next door” book 5 in Crimson Club series. And Gray from Stepbrother Dearest, Crimson club series book 1, is siblings with Eli from Never have I Ever” series book 5. When Eli was mentioned in Gray’s story for dating his long time enemy, I was really eager to know how that happened. Kai and his boyfriend were mentioned in the first two books in crimson series, so I was excited about their story too. I’ve read almost all of her books and it is intriguing to have that moment where you come across a character from another book and finally understand said character and the situation that was mentioned. I am loving it so far.

I can honestly say the way this author handles mental health issues and consent is the absolute best. The fact that Kai needed expressed consent during a scene made my heart soar.
