One of my favorite pets growing up was a raccoon named Bandit. He wasn't by any stretch a traditional pet, but he was by far the most entertaining.

The lessons that accompany these stories aren't particularly deep. They're a collection of simple truths that I learned from our life with Bandit that have served our family well. When you listen to the stories, you might shake your head and wonder how and why our family had so many crazy adventures. The short answer...my eccentric, animal-loving dad, and my incredibly kind and gracious mom.

Growing up in our family was such a fun and educational adventure. Perhaps the most amazing part is that every story you'll listen to here actually happened - unbelievably, often unfortunately - it all happened.

Really Cute Story

This was a really cute story. I grew up much like this and it brought back a lot of good memories.

Hilarity

Honestly, I don't think I've thoroughly enjoyed listening to an audiobook so much in quite some time. All the crazy stories about having an incredibly smart raccoon living under one's roof are just so out of the ordinary.

The subtitle is accurate if it means children of all ages (0 - 99). I believe adults will get just as much out of this as children would.

I got to listen half of it this morning before I got to work and I couldn't wait to listen to the rest on the way home (I've got a long commute). If you're looking for a fun, quirky real-life story of a family living with a raccoon, this is for you.

You will not regret your purchase.

Now I freakin' want a pet raccoon....well...kind of lol
