Die "Neues Leben"-Übersetzung eignet sich hervorragend zum Vorlesen - was liegt da näher, als sie zu vertonen? Denn was sich gut vorlesen lässt, lässt sich gut hören. Und anders als bei einer dramatischen Inszenierung der Bibel steht hier weniger die äußere Form im Vordergrund, sondern in erster Linie der Text. Deshalb wird jedes Buch auch von einer kleinen Einleitung begleitet - entnommen aus der NLB-Studienbibel "Begegnung fürs Leben". Gelesen werden diese Einführungen von Jürgen Werth.
