Alma Cuervo was a great narrator. the book had well rounded characters and a good storyline. the ending was satisfying. can't wait for the next one.

Pretty Good
I saw others complaining about narrator but I found nothing wrong there. Story was interesting though not the best I've ever listened to. It kept my interest which is better than most of the books I've bought recently. In general I recommend it.

New and different!
I loved the reality of the characters, the main detective actually is written like a real police women .
And the cases are all tangled up just like real life it’s never just one thing.
I enjoyed both books!

Narrator Made for a Difficult Listen
I really enjoyed the story but narrator was not great. I understand she is actually reading a book but quite a few times she had hesitation before saying what she was reading and more times it sounded like she was "reading a queue card" , and her taking breaths audibly and swallowing were very noticeable. Just had trouble listening to her read the book.
