Sexual Harassment pretty much

this book pissed me off. spoiler, the boss asked the girl to give him her underwear in exchange of a working contract. The foolish girl gave in. seriously. that's major quid pro quo. if she really wanted the money, she would have blackmailed him back for him giving her those terms in exchange for a job. like wth.

not to mention extortion and touching without permission....both characters are fools. I just can't deal with this storyline. I'm returning this book for a refund.

It's Good, but...

The story is good and mostly plausible. There were a couple of continuity errors (i.e., after it was mentioned that the shower was cold, a sentence soon after said something about "steaming"). A nice story to listen to while working around the house.

My main issue was the narrator. She had a lovely voice, perfect for this type of book, but why did she have to take such deep breaths? It was noticeable to the point of being annoying, which is too bad because her performance could have been perfection.

What a negotiation

There was nothing I didn't like. I last chapter basically was Veronica getting Victor all hot and bothered during the meeting!
The narrator was excellent and I enjoyed this book very much.

Wow!!!

I absolutely loved it! Generally when I see a book that's this short I pass on it. Boy, I'm so glad that I took a chance on this one. I want more! I wish this was a full length novel. It would be awesome to get an update on the couple. This book was very detailed I felt like I was watching a movie. I just realized that I read the books out of order for the series. I hope pt.1 is as good as pt.2!

I got what I needed..........

I notice that with most short stories they are lacking. With this one I felt it was a well thought out plot for the time slotted. It does have its adult content, and I overall like it for something to enjoy as I clean my home.

First book from Laurel but not my last!

If you could sum up Negotiating Skills in three words, what would they be?

Sexy, short and entertaining. I wished it were longer and had a more defined HEA but I did rather enjoy this one!
