Left me excited for the next book!
I love this series! I loved the voice actor this time. I think there was more plot than spice but it was so nice to get a better picture of what this world looks like. Very excited for the next book to get an audio book.

Interesting concept / world / Lacking however
Dialogue was really lacking as far as I was concerned. Why did the dudes have to have southern accents? They sounded dim. Also - why ho-hum jobs for dudes?? I don’t know, but when I read/listen to paranormal, I’d like to be transported to a higher level of fantasy than this LOL. Felt like I was listening to high school kids at times. 😑 Narrator did OK but not to my taste. Otherwise, story concept was interesting.
